In November/December 2018 we embarked on a month long camping road trip in Oman, an adventure that would go down as one of our all time favourites. We first visited Oman in 2014 as part of our honeymoon and vowed to return and explore beyond the classic triangle road trip route. Second time round we covered a whopping 5100KM, from Musandam in the far north to subtropical Salalah in the south. We wild camped for 25 nights, surrounded by the most spectacular scenery.
We filmed the whole journey.
In part one we go scuba diving off the coast of Muscat, off-roading through jaw dropping landscapes in Musandam, discover ancient rock carvings, explore UNESCO beehive tombs, take a dip in secluded wadi pools and round it off with a stunning camp spot at the very edge of Oman’s Grand Canyon.
But that’s not all.
Watch our Oman road trip video now and find out why it’s one of our absolute favourite countries.
