Over the years our filming and editing style has evolved greatly, and will no doubt continue to change, but our current focus is on creating ambient hiking films and slow travel narratives that involve the viewer in an immersive way. The subject of our films tend to reflect our own interests, be that hiking, off-road adventures, or travel in general.

Our ambient hiking films use natural audio recorded at the time, with no talking to the camera and minimalistic music. We shoot them in a way which allows you to hike the trail virtually with us, like a silent hiking buddy following along in the background. We want these to be relaxing to watch (and indeed they have been described by our viewers as calming, peaceful, and meditative), but also informative and useful if you are planning to hike the same trail in real life. With that in mind, we include a detailed breakdown of the hike at the end of each film, and of course our accompanying written guides include everything you need to plan your own hike.

Our slow travel films are often focused on a specific road trip or journey that we’ve taken, combining quiet little day-to-day scenes with on-the-go chit-chat from us. The aim with these types of films is to show you what the experience is like for yourself, rather than simply tell you about it. Much like our silent hiking films, we prioritise recording natural audio at the time to accompany the visuals, so you can really get a feel for what it’s like to be there in person.
